The Languages Canada Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Gonzalo Peralta as Executive Director. Gonzalo, who will be based in the Ottawa area, brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the language industry. 
 

Prior to joining Languages Canada, he served for almost three years as the President of AILIA (Association de l’industrie de la langue/Language Industry Association), and his career to date has spanned over 25 years, with experience in the three main sectors of the language industry:  translation, language technologies and language training. 

Languages Canada’s President, Calum MacKechnie, stated: “We are absolutely delighted that Gonzalo has joined us. We are confident that his experience and in-depth understanding of the language training industry will help Languages Canada to move up to the next level, improving Canada’s position as the destination of choice for French and English language training for success. We look forward to continuing the growth and strength of our association under Gonzalo’s capable leadership.”
