Thanks to all ALTO members who attended WYSTC, the ALTO seminars, and of course, ALTO’s Annual General Meeting.
At the AGM, members were not only able to hear from the ALTO Board on the many successful initiatives of the Association during the past year, but also continued ALTO’s tradition of frank discussions, with language travel trade at WYSTC being at the centre of the agenda. The ALTO Board thanks all members for their valuable input during the AGM, and those who have sent in their feedback after the AGM.
In response to member feedback, ALTO is now forming a peer group to focus on ALTO trade at WYSTC, who will be helping address the following questions: 1) ALTO's trade challenge at the WYSTC conference; 2) How ALTO can give more value to its member agents; 3) How ALTO can give more value to its member schools; and 4) How ALTO members can move beyond the idea that ALTO is a once a year trade event, to an association active throughout the year.
The peer group will be meeting within the next month, and will report back to the membership on their recommendations.
