CHI Celebrates its 30th Anniversary
Congratulations to Cultural Homestay International, spearheaded by founders Tom and Lilka Areton, which embarked on its 30th year on November 1st 2009. Established in 1980, CHI was founded with the idea to create a "better student exchange programme," which promotes "friendship, and harmony among young people of the world."

ALTO Wraps Its First Roadshow in Kazakhstan
The president of the Boloshak Scholarship Programme, along over 25 agents representing 12 agencies, met with ALTO members in Kazakhstan in May, during ALTO’s first-ever roadshow. “ALTO hosted our Kazakhstan roadshow in order to provide its members with additional trading opportunities in new source markets,” stated ALTO Chair Mauro Biondi.
