ALTO was formed at the World Youth & Student Travel Conference (WYSTC) in Miami in 1998, and has grown into an association with a large global membership base.
Representing the global community of youth travel, student travel and international education specialists WYSE Travel Confederation is a dynamic, professionally managed not-for-profit organisation.
The 550+ members of WYSE Travel Confederation in 120 countries provide international travel and educational experiences to 10+ million youth and students each year.
WYSE Travel Confederation was formed in 2006 when the International Student TravelConfederation (ISTC) merged with the Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations (FIYTO).
