ALTO Day Berlin 2014 - Global Trends for the Language Travel Industry
register for the event

Join us at the ALTO Day Berlin 2014 event on 2nd November 2014, the Sunday before the ICEF Berlin Workshop.

The ALTO Day is organised for members and starts with the association's Annual General Meeting at 10:00. The meeting is followed by a presentation by Deloitte Malta revealing the findings of the industry wide benchmarking report we're currently working on - please see more details below under the ALTO-Deloitte Language Travel Industry Survey. For the afternoon Industry Panel session we have invited highly respected representatives of school associations from some of the key destination markets to be our Panel members. They will introduce their markets and share some pertinent data about the changes they've experienced in the last few years and their projections for 2014 and 2015.

Industry Panel members - Global Trends for the Language Travel Industry:

Visit the event page to see the schedule of the day and register at your earliest convenience.

Submit your survey before 10th October!

ALTO has commissioned Deloitte Malta to produce an industry-wide benchmarking report that examines both educational agencies and language schools within the language travel industry. The benchmarking report will provide meaningful, concise and comprehensive benchmarking data for all key stakeholders of the industry including: language schools, agents, associations, lenders, investors and service providers
If you participate in the survey and complete the questionnaire, you will automatically receive an executive summary of the results.
The survey is handled carefully and with utmost confidentiality, no specific company-specific information is passed on to third parties (including the staff and board members of ALTO), and it is only accessed by a restricted number of designated Deloitte team members.

Please read more here or proceed directly to the survey links below:

ALTO delegates were challenged by leadership strategist Paul O’Kelly to identify their Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) at the London seminar which took place in September. With an impressive knowledge of business bibles that shed insight into tactical decision making, O’Kelly used a mix of his own experience of helping businesses to grow and other case studies to imbue ALTO delegates with knowledge and action points to take their business to the next level...
After an engaging and lengthy session with O’Kelly, Irish school owner, Justin Quinn, then explained to members the business benefits of having a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda in an enlightening afternoon session...
