Pricing for Profit by Marco Bertini, London Business School

"There are two fools for every market: one asks for too little, the other asks for too much.” (Russian proverb)

Pricing is an area of business that managers seldom talk about with great enthusiasm. ALTO seminar London 2012 - report

Businesses should rethink their strategy every 7 years, and those that are members of ALTO may well be acting upon this advice after another successful seminar delivered by Luis Huete last week.
Huete, a business expert and resident professor at IESE Business School in Spain, spent a day with ALTO members in London exploring successful business strategies that focus on keeping the customer at the epicentre of business decisions. "Proximity is power", counselled the award-winning speaker, who advised delegates that being good was not enough to stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Read more and watch the video recording of the whole seminar here (members only).

"...I took some time away from the office to focus only on potential development of the organisation and development of the team.""...anybody who wants to meet other key decision makers and develop their own professional life, being part of ALTO is really essential."
