ALTO Board member and educational agent, Fernando Aguilar was nominated as champion of the association’s focus on growing its membership base at the last Board meeting in London. Fernando has been working in the language travel industry for over 14 years and is the Sales Manager of Astex- Spain, mainly responsible for the agency’s partner school portfolio, and its national network of 40 sales agencies.
Fernando regularly attends international workshops representing Astex and is involved in the agency’s strategic planning. He was elected to the ALTO Board at the last AGM and is now working to recruit more members- especially educational agents to improve the balance of schools/ agents within the association.
He had a great response from a list of potential member agents we invited to join ALTO earlier in February. We will report about the outcome of his campaign in our next newsletter.
Since the latest report in December, we can welcome further 10 new ALTO members, see list below. Here's why they decided to join:
Maximo Sepulveda Ramos - Inturjoven Spanish Courses, Spain
"When Inturjoven Spanish Courses
decided to join an educational association to exchange experiences and
information with other companies, we evaluated some of the existing associations
and we realized that ALTO is the one where the most significant schools,
agencies and educational organizations are; and we had to become a member of
Bahjat A Abdel-Hadi- Arabian Centre of Technology (ACT), Saudi Arabia "ALTO is an organization that connects
the best language teaching organizations and to be part of such organization
only shows excellence. And since we always strive to excel in our work and sore
highest in the sky of competition, and as our name is a synonymous with quality
here in our market, it would be a plus advantage to join ALTO. Thus we Joined." Please contact them via their ALTO profile and send them a short welcome message, thank you.
