Elections at the next AGM
Time is flying at astonishing pace and three ALTO Board members are coming up to the end of their 3-year term on the board this autumn. David Anthonisz, David Brown and Andrew Mangion will stand for re-election in Berlin on 3rd November 2013 - "We've achieved about 65% of the goals we had set when we joined the Board and we would like to complete these projects during the next term" -commented David Brown Treasurer. Nevertheless we look forward to seeing ALTO members putting themselves forward for Candidacy.
More information about the Elections and the AGM will be circulated to ALTO members at a closer date.

ALTO Conference New York - report
|New York was the venue for ALTO's first stand-alone conference designed to be a breeding ground for ideas and collaboration between senior stakeholders in the language school and education agency industries. The city and the conference did not disappoint, with stunning socialising opportunities in the Big Apple providing a perfect backdrop to seminars and speed-dating that sought to help ALTO members develop and grow their business. |

Industry Panel at the London event
|One of the most successful sessions at the New York Conference was the panel of leading agency representatives discussing pressing issues and questions prepared by the ALTO Board. Due to the overwhelming positive feedback - 96% of conference participants found the panel useful and interesting - we decided to organise a similar session at the next professional development event in London on 02/09/2013. This time both school and agent sides would be represented on the panel. |
