"Responding to the Market" - Professional Development and Networking Conference in San Francisco

After 3 years of great conferences in New York city, ALTO's annual Professional Development and Networking Conference is moving to San Francisco! The event is held between 28th-30th April 2016 at the Clift Hotel which is a fantastic boutique hotel with amazing facilities.

The ALTO Conference is a very unique two-day event where the leaders and decision makers of the language travel industry get together and boost their businesses through top-level networking and professional development sessions. 

Features include outstanding speakers, distinguished industry guests, structured and informal networking opportunities with the decision makers of the industry. The theme of the conference in 2016 is "Responding to the Market" where we plan to address the challenges that business owners and senior managers are facing in a turbulent economic environment. We will invite speakers who can help participants to prepare and respond effectively in challenging times and find out how to help their businesses survive and thrive. The needs of the future workplace The world is changing, and we’re moving into a knowledge-economy which requires a whole new set of skills, attitudes and outlooks – we’re moving into a world of deep-learning and high performance skills. This section will take a look at what that means, and how you need to work with your suppliers and customers to lever this.
Disruption Using lessons from the birth of Apple, Microsoft, Google and more, we’ll take a deep-dive into what those entrepreneurs did to understand disruption, and how they keep disrupting over, and over again. Disruption is an integral part of business now and we need to be prepared for it.
Understanding Value We will bring-together the thinking and discussions in the above to rip apart and rebuild our understanding of what the value is that we offer to our suppliers and customers.
